①join a snowshoeing tour
Snowshoeing tour in Kiyosato highland is the program everyone in your family can enjoy.
We arrange courses and difficulty for your needs.
We put up a mountain shelter for your lunchtime, and make hot sandwiches.
This sandwich is made by local hotel “Auberge” and one of the features of this tour.

②enjoy breathtaking scenery, red bridge and Mt. Akadake
“Higashizawaohashi bridge” is known as red bridge, and we recommend enjoy viewing from here. In winter, Mt. Akadake covered with snow and the bridge painted red are beautifully in contrast. There is a parking lot but in winter snow is not removed, so please take care about amount of snow.
③St. Andrew’s Anglican Church
This church is related to Paul Rusch, father of Kiyosato, built in 1948 as a base for missionary work. The distinction of this church is that there are “tatami” on the floor for the farmers living in Kiyosato. And this solemn church is made from rocks of Kawamatagawa valley, it’s the symbol of pioneering Kiyosato area.
