Moeginomura village
It’s the central place of culture and sightseeing of Kiyosato area. There are hotel, museum of music box, beer brewery and natural garden.
In summer, ballet performance is held in here.
Sun meadows Kiyosato highland park
You can climb up to 1,900 meters elevation by ski lift. Fantastic view is in front of you, like Mt Fuji, Yatsugatake, Chichibu mountain range. Walking paths, seeing alpine plants is also fun.
Seisen-ryo
Dr. Paul Rush, as known as father of Kiyosato had established Seisen-ryo. They are still doing activities based on conceptions of Paul Rush. You can stay the night here.
Taniguchi farm
Many ex racehorses are in this farm. You will see beautiful Yatsugatake from here.
Kiyosato pony farm
You can ride a pony here. They are tame and quiet, so small kids can ride them safely.
Picture book museum Kiyosato
There are original pictures of famous artist, Errol Le Cain as permanent exhibition. And every special exhibition, one artist is featured.
Ken Kuroi picture book house
Ken Kuroi is well known artist, for instance “Gongitsune”, “Korowan” etc. please enjoy his distinct taste of original pictures.
Kosuda farm
They have horseback riding classes, especially classes for kids are popular. You can choose pony or mature horse.
Aqua resort Kiyosato “Tennyonoyu”
Hot spring of “Tennyonoyu” is from 1,300m under sea level, and absolutely natural hot spring. It is gushing 300 tons per day and 47 degrees, enjoy japanese “Onsen”.
Kaioizumi onsen Panorama hot spring
Panorama hot spring is surrounded by beautiful mountains, like Yatsugatake, the southern Japanese alps, Mt. Mizugakiyama etc. viewing Mt. Fuji from the hot spring must be nice experience.
Scenic spots
Kiyosato station and steam locomotive C56
Kiyosato station is the entrance of Kiyosato highland area. It is located on the second highest place of JR lines. C56, ex protagonist of this line is exhibited next to the station.
Utskusimori woods
Utsukusimori woods is located on south foot of Yatsugatake. Flowers of Japanese azalea will welcome you.
Hirasawa path and Shishiiwa rock
Scenery from Hirasawa path is gorgeous, Yatsugatake, Japan south alps and Mt.Fuji. The rock shaped like lion called “Shishiiwa” is also interesting.
Doryunotaki waterfall
Kawamatagawa river flows from Yatsugatake. Doryunotaki waterfall is falling into very clear flow of Kawamatagawa river.
It’s all spring water from the rock wall.
Guujinotaki waterfall
Daimongawa river is also a river representing Kiyosato highland area. Guujinotaki waterfall is on the stream of Daimongawa river. You will be attracted by its mysterious atmosphere.
Sengataki waterfall
Sengataki is the waterfall which is on the stream of Daimongawa too, and has 20 meters height and big volume of water. There is a nice spot to see this waterfall close to Moeginomura village.
Higashizawa big bridge
This bridge is famous for its red color. The scenery from here is fantastic, especially in spring and autumn. Enjoy beautiful contrast trees and red bridge.
Yatsugatake highland bridge
This bridge is on Kawamatagawa river. Height is 100 meters, length is about 500 meters. As known as “yellow bridge” compared with red bridge. Of course the view from this bridge is also stunning, please check it.
